“notfallmedizin 2016” – 8th Scientific Meeting of the Association of Emergency Medicine
After the big success of the last meeting in 2014, “notfallmedizin 2016”, the 8th Scientific Meeting of the Association of Emergency Medicine (AGN) will take place from March 31st to April 2nd, 2016, in the conference venues of the Messe Congress Graz in Graz, Austria. Since it first took place in 1998, the AGN meeting has become the largest emergency medical conference in Austria and offers three lecture tracks with a large variety of talks for scientists, daily practice emergency physicians, EMT’s, nursing personnel and medical students. Experts from Austria, all over Europe, many of them associated with the European Resuscitation Council, will meet in Graz to discuss latest developments and future innovations in resuscitation and emergency medicine. The scientific program will be translated simultaneously (English/German, German/English). A broad range of additional small group courses and hands-on workshops, an exhibition of our industrial partners and the “Get together” on Friday evening complete the meeting.
Graz – City of conference… and more!
Graz, the capital of the Austrian province of Styria, is well known for its beautiful old inner city – listed as World Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO -, for its decent mixture of tradition and avant-garde, its fine arts and cultural monuments, its mediterranean atmosphere. In a nutshell: Graz is worth more than only a conference visit. Furthermore, the rural landscape around Graz invites our guests to a pleasant stay. Rolling-hill wine districts in the south and west (the “Styrian Tuscany”), the hot springs in the east, alpine mountain ranges in the north – the province of Styria offers various possibilities of recreation and leisure activities, easily reachable from its capital.
Take advantage of this and extend your conference visit. We are looking forward to welcome you as our guest!
Traveling to Graz
Graz is easily reachable by flight, train or public bus from many cities in Central Europe, as well as by car. Please consider that for using Austrian motorways toll fares have to be paid. As the 7th Scientific Meeting of the Association of Emergency Medicine is in process to be certified as a Green Event, we strongly recommend to use public transportation services for your traveling to and the ways in Graz.
